We conduct background checks on all adult travelers
To help provide a safer experience for all travelers, we require every adult (aged 20 and older) to complete a background check before going on an EF student tour. It’s a secure process and is similar to what many school districts implement for adults in their communities who volunteer or chaperone.

When you decide to have your student travel with EF, we recommend enrolling them in one of our Global Travel Protection plans, both of which are designed specifically with EF travelers in mind.
